When our lodge is full we are providing you alternatives at our new village double bedrooms or at our partner guesthouses. The rooms belong to the village and have been rented and freshly renovated by our family to provide options to our lovely guests when our lodge is fully booked. The charming house is located in front of our family's house and small shop (Iman's sister and her husband Zimmi who is also our manager). It is located at 2 minutes from the river and there are several local warungs and restaurants around. Ideal if you're looking for an authentic stay among and like to connect with locals.

Village Budget Double Bedrooms

IMMERSION IN LOCAL SIMPLICITY

The perfect getaway for eco-conscious backpackers looking to get back to basics with a stay in the village ! Our 2 village double bedrooms house are located down in the village of Bukit Lawang, just in front of our family house (Iman's sister and our manager Zimmi). It is located next to the ITGA-HPI office (tourist guide association) and at 2 min from the river. It is accessible by car which is rare in Bukit Lawang. Our lodge is reachable from there by foot with a 25 minutes walk along the river.

2 double bedrooms are available. Each room offers exquisite simplicity for backpackers or solo travellers or people looking for an authentic stay along the local community. Each fully furnished double bedroom is coming with a king size double bedroom, a mosquito net, an electric fan but also A/C and a TV. There is chill area in each room with a sofa, a coffee table and a wardrobe. A terrace is completing each room with 2 chairs and a private outdoor sink. There is no wifi but cellular data is working from there. Each room is bookable individually and the price is per room per night. If you would like to book both rooms please let us know.

Best suited for: backpackers, solo travellers, group of friends.

Please note that the rooms are located next to a mosque. Praying times are : (the early morning praying call is not taking place every day). Besides, local people are enjoying karakoes during weekends.. Please be aware of this by booking this room and feel free to join them for a singing session. For these reasons, we are providing this room for an affordable fare and we are asking for your understanding and respect of the local customs and ways of living by booking these rooms.
