Overlooking the majestic Gunung Leuser rainforest, this peaceful riverside haven is ideal for relaxing before and after your jungle adventures.

4 high standards Family Rooms at our new lodge

1st-floor units (2 rooms): Rooms with restaurant and river view. Queen bed + bunk bed, fan, mosquito nets, en-suite with hot water and organic toiletries. Features balconies with river and restaurant views. Nightly rate starts at 400 k IDR, extra bed available for 100 k IDR / person.

2nd-floor units (2 rooms): Same bedding/amenities but with panoramic river-and-jungle balconies. Nightly rate starts at 500 k IDR, extra bed available for 100 k IDR / person.

Standard Double Room at our new lodge, a snug option for two: king-size bed, fan, mosquito net, hot-water en-suite with organic toiletries, and access to a shared balcony overlooking the forest behind the lodge.
Nightly rate at 250 k IDR.

Additional Family Room available at our main restaurant and reception (100m away)
At the original guesthouse, there’s a family suite with king + bunk bed, fan, mosquito net, private bathroom (cold water only), hammock-equipped balcony with riverside jungle views.
Nightly rate from 300–400 k IDR depending on occupancy.

2 Village double rooms : Ideal for eco-conscious backpackers or those seeking a local immersion: our village rooms are located down in the village (23 min by foot) and just 2 minutes from the river. Each room includes a king-size bed, mosquito net, electric fan, A/C, TV, sofa, fridge, wardrobe. There's a private bathroom western-style shower (cold water only) and a western toilet with manual flush. While there's no wifi, cell service works fine.
The nightly rate is 100 k IDR when you reserve a trek through us.
Please note: these rooms are next to a mosque, and during weekends, you may hear local karaoke — a charming opportunity to experience village life if you're respectful of local customs

DINING, RECEPTION & OFFICE
Our new lodge lounge and terrace offer breathtaking jungle and river – a serene backdrop for sipping fresh juices or enjoying yummy meals.
Please note: until our dedicated riverside restaurant (opening 2026) is completed, our current restaurant and main reception and office remain at the original guesthouse, approximately 100 meters from the new lodge. It’s an easy, scenic stroll along the riverbank (you can find it under Sumatra Orangutan Explore on Google Maps).
