On Day 1, get transferred from the airport to Bukit Lawang, explore the area or take a swim and relax at our ecolodge. On Day 2 you'll explore the jungle for 1D in order to spot orangutans and other wildlife. You'll come back to the guesthouse between 4 and 5 pm with a fun raft down the river. On Day 3 you will go on our traditional village tour. In the morning you'll explore the surroundings, stroll among the rice fields, meet local people and assist to the local productions of tofu and brown sugar and a demonstration of bamboo weaving. You'll enjoy a traditional lunch at a nice spot before exploring the amazing bat caves in the afternoon. During the afternoon you'll discover Lumbini garden the famous boudhist temple, visit traditional houses & chase waterfall! Back in Berastagi you'll explore the famous fruits market, a great opportunity to taste some amazing tropical fruits! After a day full of discoveries, you will spend another night at our partners' accommodation in Berastagi. On day 6, a private car will take you to your next destination: Lake Toba (with a stop at Sipiso Piso waterfall) or Medan (4 hours). The itinerary of the tour can be reversed, you can start with Berastagi & end with Bukit Lawang. Perfect if you're on a tight schedule but want to make the most of your trip to North Sumatra.
