Week-end gateway Packages
You're living in Medan or in Indonesia and you'd like to escape the hustle & bustle of city life? Our week-end getaway packages are perfect to reconnect with nature! A private car will pick you up in Medan city or at the airport in the morning. According to the pick up time you'll be able to do a half day trek or a 1 day trek in the Gunung Leuser National Park to spot orangutans and amazing wildlife. Enjoy a yummy lunch and some tropical fruits in the wild before going back to Bukit Lawang by tubing down the river. After the trek the private car will take you back. Bukit Lawang Highlights Packages
This package combines an Ethical Jungle Trek of your choice (from 1 day to 3 days) with a cultural trip to discover the surroundings of Bukit Lawang. Enjoy a Village Tour in the morning. This package combines the Bukit Lawang Highlights Packages with an additional soap making workshop, for an authentic experience. This is a community-based tour package aiming to support the local community, traditional activities and women empowerment initiatives. Choose the ethical jungle trekking option that suits you best (from 1 day to 3 days) to explore the Gunung Leuser National Park. After the jungle trek, you'll enjoy a day trip through the surroundings to discover all the highlights of Bukit Lawang: rural villages, rice fields and plantations, traditional productions of tofu and brown sugar, traditional handicrafts such as palm leaves and bamboo weaving but also the unique bat caves. On the eve of your departure, immerse yourself in the Sumatran botanicals & delightful scents with a tour combining a walk through the village and a workshop. Aini, a lovely local entrepreneur, will welcome you at her place and teach you how to make natural soaps using natural oils and selected plants from her garden. North Sumatra Highlights Packages
This package combines the Bukit Lawang Highlights Packages with our Berastagi Discovery Tour, to discover the must-see spots of North Sumatra. Stay 3 nights at our ecolodge, located at the riverside in the most beautiful part of Bukit Lawang. Choose the ethical jungle trekking option that suits you best (from 1 day to 3 days) to explore the Gunung Leuser National Park and spot orangutans. After the jungle trek, you'll enjoy a day trip through the surroundings to discover all the highlights of Bukit Lawang: rural villages, rice fields and plantations, traditional productions of tofu and brown sugar, traditional handicrafts such as palm leaves and bamboo weaving, traditional food but also the unique bat caves. The next day you'll enjoy a relaxed morning at our ecolodge before heading to Berastagi in the afternoon (4 hours). Enjoy a chill evening and get some rest. The next morning climb the volcano by sunrise, visit some hot springs and enjoy lunch with the panoramic view of Gundaling Hill! During the afternoon you'll discover Lumbini garden the famous boudhist temple, visit traditional houses & chase waterfall! Back in Berastagi you'll explore the famous fruits market. On the last day, a private car will take you to your next destination: Lake Toba (with a stop at Sipiso Piso waterfall) or Medan (4 hours).
